I am a Contemporary artist living in Calgary with my partner and my two most precious creations. I graduated with distinction from The Alberta College of Art and Design, now known as Alberta University of the Arts, with a Bachelor of Fine Art. I have exhibited internationally and locally and also teach fine arts to children.

My most recent work explores ideas of health, time and movement. Through a meditative practice, I spend time making repetitive marks which document the moment as well as the movement of my hand. This is in direct defiance of my ephemerally experienced disease, Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA), which was diagnosed as a child. Through my work I hope to bring more awareness to this disease. RA causes pain, restricted mobility, systemic damage and uncertainty. My art practice is a celebration of the mobility I do have in the present moment. The act of making is an indulgence, appreciation and documentation of movement in each moment in time.
